This is an on site position requiring 5 days per week at our Shipton under Wychwood office and warehouse (Oxfordshire).
We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Head of Operations tolead and optimise our warehouse operations. This leadership role will beresponsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, including inventorymanagement, order fulfilment, shipping/receiving, and team management.The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouseoperations, process optimisation, and a strong commitment to safety andefficiency. The Head of Operations will play a crucial role in ensuring thatour logistics and distribution processes are effective, cost-efficient, andscalable to meet the growing needs of the business.

Requirements for Head of Operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- A strong experiencein Operations management, ideally in warehousing operations
- Expertise in large-scale warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfilment is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in WMS, Google Docs, Excel, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities as Head of Operations
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture, providing coaching, and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels through audits and cycle counts, maintain planning tools, and ensure stock accuracy across locations.
- Logistics and Distribution: Optimise shipping, transportation, and distribution processes to meet customer expectations while reducing costs and lead times.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce warehouse safety standards, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key operational metrics, prepare performance reports, and identify opportunities for improvement to achieve operational goals.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the operations budget, optimise the use of space, equipment, and labour, and maintain cost-effective operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, stay informed about new technologies, and maintain ISO accreditation.
Salary
Salary range: up to £70,000
